Over the past several years, we’ve made a lot of progress in diversity and inclusion strategies.
In 2018, we set out after our most ambitious goal: create a PetSmart where every associate feels like they truly belong. Today, our diversity and inclusion programs lead with Belonging, and we focus on celebrating the backgrounds, experiences, and differences that make all of us unique.

Belonging Week kicks off on Monday, June 21 and goes through Sunday, June 27. We’ve included activities and events throughout the week and weekend. It is seven days of culture. 6+ Hours of Content. 26 Sessions. 50+ Speakers. And it’s available for all 48,000+ associates.
To ensure that every associate has the opportunity to participate, 2021 Belonging Week will be virtual and contain multiple prerecorded sessions. This allows all associates the flexibility to learn more about our Belonging Program, engage with our Associate Resources Groups, and support a culture of inclusion at PetSmart.
