PetSmart has set up two scholarship programs for our associates:
The first program supports PetSmart associates of color and their dependents. The scholarship recognizes socioeconomic disparities and aims to bridge the gap by providing increased educational opportunities and financial support as needed.
The second program is available to all PetSmart associates and their dependents. Allowing us to remain deeply embedded in our culture of belonging and inclusion.
Multiple targeted scholarships will be awarded, including $2,500 for the pursuit of an associate degree and $10,000 for the pursuit of a bachelor's degree. The application window for both scholarship programs closes on Monday, April 15, 2024. All scholarship recipients will be selected based on criteria including academic achievement, financial need, and extracurricular involvement.
Eligibility Requirements
PetSmart associates and their dependents may apply (excluding VP and above).
Associates that have worked an average of 8-hours a week or more in the preceding 90 days prior to the application deadline.
Associates must be with the company for 90 days of continuous service at the time of the application deadline. Therefore, an associate or parent must be hired prior to January 15, 2024.
The applicant must be applying or enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited two-year or four-year institution in the 2024-2025 school year.

By July 31, 2024 - Winners and non-winners are notified
August 2024 - Scholarship checks are mailed to the winners (check made out to the school)
