It was a PAWsome day at the PetSmart 5K-9 Fun Run, as part of our partnership with the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee. With the Big Game only a few weeks away here in Arizona, more than 1,000 pet parents and 700 pups running alongside them came together to get their steps in while also supporting the work of PetSmart Charities. In honor of the Big Game’s 57th year, 57% of the proceeds from the fun run will benefit PetSmart Charities—which provides homes, food, help and support for pets in need.

It was my pleasure to attend the 5-K9 presented by PetSmart. In celebration of the 57th Superbowl which will be held at Cardinals Stadium, J.K. Symancyk, CEO of PetSmart and I gratefully received a check for 57% of the proceeds from the event to benefit PetSmart Charities, thanks to the Arizona Superbowl Host Committee. Big thanks also to our partners at the @Arizona Animal Welfare League and the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control for bringing adoptable pets to the grounds. It was a beautiful day to celebrate the special bond between pets and people while getting in some steps (and trots)!
