What is your favorite thing about being a Store Leader with PetSmart?
“It’s really enjoyable interacting with people all day, whether it’s employees or customers, who are so passionate about pets. I also love it when people bring their pet into the store so we can get to know them and form a bond with the pet parent.”
What makes working at PetSmart different than other retail stores?
“I’ve worked for several different retail companies during my career and PetSmart takes care of their associates much better than other retailers. The training and support is superior. The stores are clean, bright, and engaging. We have high-quality products and the variety that customers are seeking.”
What do you think customers like most about shopping with PetSmart?
“The friendly atmosphere when they walk in the door. Every customer is greeted with a smile when they enter the store. We work hard to make sure the stores are clean, inviting, and well-stocked. The majority of employees in this store have been with the company for many years, so they are able to provide customers with so much knowledge about pet care, products, and services.”
Anything else to say about your time with PetSmart?
“I enjoy coming to work every day. PetSmart is less stressful than other retailers that I’ve worked for in the past. My co-workers are terrific people and hard workers who provide our customers with so much helpful information on a daily basis. Getting to meet with pets and pet parents many times a day is so fulfilling. I plan to stay with PetSmart until my retirement.”
